An immigration judge in San Francisco has set a $10,000 bond for a Bakersfield College student detained by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.

ICE says Jose Bello is a gang member who’s been convicted of “violent offenses”, but Bello and his supporters argued on Wednesday it’s a case of mistaken identity and he’s not a flight risk.
