Police have arrested an illegal immigrant for the murder of a Bakersfield man in 2003. 31-year-old Carlos Castro is accused of stabbing Renato Morales on Sumner and Haley streets, but officers have not said what the motive may be.

Castro had been arrested a few days ago in San Diego for illegally crossing the Mexican border.
