One of the suspects in the death of three-year-old Major Sutton has been sent to a state mental hospital. Myesha Dale had pleaded not guilty to murder for last year’s shooting on Pershing Street in central Bakersfield that also wounded his five-year-old brother and pregnant mother.

Co-defendants Tyrone Johnson and David Palms head to court next week.
