The family of a woman who died in this week’s shooting rampage in southeast Bakersfield has set up a Go Fund Me page to pay for funeral expenses for her and the ex-husband who pulled the trigger. Javier and Petra Casarez are described as “loving and caring” parents despite the “unfortunate” event.

Sheriff’s deputies think their recent divorce may be the motive for Wednesday’s rampage, as the couple were still arguing over child custody and property.
