A vacant double wide in South Taft has been destroyed by a fire that may have been started by transients. The Taft Midway Driller reports the trailer on Lierly Avenue and Crystal Street was fully engulfed when firefighters showed up around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, an outbuilding was also damaged.
