A man accused of killing a gang member outside a south Bakersfield pot shop has pleaded no contest to assault with a semi-automatic firearm.

Rudolph Gibson was found in Los Angeles after Michael Dorrough’s death last year at the Mars Marijuana Collective on South Union Avenue. Sentencing is next month.

Co-defendant Troy Sanders was sentenced to 113 years to life in prison last month.
