Sheriff’s homicide detectives say it was the mother of a 33-year-old Weldon man who shot him dead as he stabbed his father during an argument. Truman Fulfer was found following a 9-1-1 call Sunday afternoon from Isabel Road, where deputies determines he’d forced his father to the ground after threatening to kill his parents. The Kern County Court website shows Fulfer has a history of drugs and weapons cases going back to 2004.
