A 27-year-old Lamont woman is being held without bail after a man was beaten to death in the backyard of a home. Deputies say witnesses saw Joseline Rodriguez attack the victim around 2:20 Tuesday afternoon at a house on Florence Street and Ralph Avenue, and those witnesses are being questioned. A check of the court website shows Rodriguez has several arrests for domestic violence. She’s due in court Thursday.
