Immigrations and Customs Enforcement says their investigation into a fatal car crash in Delano involving two farm workers has found “no wrongdoing on the part of the involved ICE employees”. Santo and Marcelina Garcia died when their car flipped on West Cecil Avenue in March as they were fleeing ICE agents.

The United Farm Workers has asked the California Attorney General’s office to look into the accident. Kern County DA Lisa Green has declined to press charges against the agents, despite a request from Delano Police.
