A Bakersfield High School student is in the hospital after he was stabbed in the shoulder with an unknown object during a fight on campus.

Kern High School District Police are investigating what led up to Thursday morning’s incident, but the district says in a statement they do not “condone violence of any kind, and appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken”.
