Two people are in critical condition after they were hit crossing H Street and 1st Street in central Bakersfield. Police say the woman driving the car did not see another woman pushing a man in a wheelchair enter the intersection around 7:00 Wednesday night, but drugs and alcohol do no appear to be factors in the accident.
