PRISON FOR POT SHOP SHOOTER

The man who pleaded no contest to assault with a semi-automatic firearm for a fatal shooting outside a Bakersfield pot shop has been sentenced to 13 years to life in prison.

Rudolph Gibson shot at gang member Michael Dorrough last year at the Mars Marijuana Collective on South Union Avenue. He was later arrested in Los Angeles.

Co-defendant Troy Sanders was sentenced to 113 years to life in prison in August.
