The Coroner’s Office says the man who died last week in a suspected street racing crash in southwest Bakersfield was 31-year-old Gary Josan. They used dental records to positively ID him after his BMW crashed into a tree near Old River Elementary School on Friday and caught fire. Police are looking for the motorcycle rider he may have been chasing.
