NEW MAP SHOWS DANGEROUS POLLUTION

There’s a new interactive map that shows if you’re living near a toxic chemical facility. The Environmental Justice Health Alliance says that’s true for 68% of Kern County residents, with poor and minority communities more at-risk of breathing in harmful emissions than others.

Critics say the concerns are overblown because the Central Valley has cut its emissions in half over the past few decades.
