Commuters will see excavation, equipment and vehicles in the Rosedale area of northwest Bakersfield Wednesday until April 2019 when SoCalGas performs its safety inspections. Traffic control signs and cones will help direct drivers reduce to one lane and parking restrictions will be enforced near construction sites. Residents and local business may hear work-related noise, but no interruption of services is expected. SoCalGas warns customers they may smell a natural gas odor.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Renfro Road, between Noriego Road and Southernwood Avenue and in the Rosedale area, Renfrom Road between Hageman and Tierra Viejo Road and Hagman Road between Meadow Lake and Rendro Roads.
