Hundreds of Bakersfield residents in need were fed outside Millcreek Community Church downtown at the annual Breakfast Burrito Give-Away.

Bakersfield Burrito Project Founder and CEO Belinda Lopez Rickett says the Thanksgiving Day event on Truxtun Avenue gets more popular every year, which means they need more donations for things like materials and insurance.

Breakfast burritos are also served in the church parking lot every Sunday and on Christmas.
