A 13-year-old girl from Bakersfield has qualified for the Juvenile Pairs Skating Championships in Detroit. Melania Deliz and partner Allan Fisher finished third in the Pacific Coast Regional Championships last month in Salt Lake City. Delis began her skating career at the Valley Children’s Ice Center in downtown Bakersfield.
