Five bomb threats sent to organizations around Bakersfield have been deemed “unsubstantiated” by police. The unnamed groups received the emails Thursday morning that also asked for bitcoin.

BPD believes they’re from the same people who sent bomb threats to hundreds of businesses across the country the same day.
