A ShotSpotter activation on Niles Street in east Bakersfield has led to an arrest, and police also confiscated an AR-15 rifle with a large amount of ammo. They say 33-year-old Victor Banuelos is a convicted felon who was banned from having firearms, and that he also had drugs in his possession and a misdemeanor warrant. The ShotSpotter alert was triggered at 11:04pm New Year’s Eve.
