Cal State Bakersfield is celebrating another year of good grades by student athletes. A news release Monday says they have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 for the eighth consecutive semester, with 110 students making the dean’s list. Athletics Director Ziggy Siegfried says students take the same competitive approach in the classroom as they do in their sport.
