Sheriff’s deputies are still searching for a dangerous carjacking suspect in eastern Kern County, who’s eluded officers since Friday morning, he’s identified as 36-year-old Nicholas Stiles. Spokeswoman Angela Monroe says it began at 10:15 Friday morning in Johannesburg, and they called SWAT around 3:00 in the afternoon. “The majority of the area, at last check was right around Randsburg, so right in between Randsburn and Johannesburg.” Many KUZZ listeners said they saw deputy vehicles going code 3 Friday afternoon eastbound on Hwy 58, that means they were using lights and sirens.
