A 31-year-old woman is being treated for bite wounds after a sheriff’s K-9 assisted with her arrest. Deputies made a welfare check of a woman with a gun at a Mojave gas station, and later found Hayley Beebe at another gas station. The pursuit Thursday night hit speeds of 90mph before it ended on Chester Avenue in east Bakersfield. The weapon was a BB gun.
