TWO NOW SENTENCED FOR DRUG SHIPMENTS

A 51-year-old Bakersfield trucker has been sentenced to five years in prison for his role in a drug trafficking scheme between California and Chicago. The US Attorney’s Office says Darrell Jennings pleaded guilty to hauling six kilograms of heroin and 11 kilograms of cocaine after he was busted last year. Mario Alvarez-Muniz of Taft previously admitted to setting up the deal, he got 10 years.
