GUILTY PLEA AND FINE FOR POT GROW

A man from Mexico who was caught at a large marijuana grow in the Sequoia National Forest has pleaded guilty to conspiracy and other charges. The US attorney’s office says Felipe Valdez Colima and two other men were followed from the Kiavah Wilderness and stopped in Weldon with over 18-hundred harvested plants. He will also pay $7-thousand restitution for the damage caused by illegal pesticides.
