The Kern County Sheriff is urging residents in several areas to evacuate due to flooding concernsThe agency says residents living in Power Tracts, Weldon Valley Ranchos and Valley Estates should leave as soon as possible. An evacuation center has been set up at South Fork Middle School, 5225 Kelso Valley Road in Weldon. Animal Services will be onsite to assist in evacuating your pets.
