The 23-year-old Bakersfield man convicted of brutal assault on his girlfriend has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. Police say Ezequiel Anguiano fled the crime scene on Fortier Street back in January, but was caught soon after. He pleaded no contest to carjacking and spousal abuse, and a charge of assault with a deadly weapon was dropped.
