Records: UC Berkeley Connected to College Admissions Scandal

(Berkeley, CA) — Court records show Cal Berkeley is among the colleges connected to the nationwide admissions cheating scandal. Vancouver businessman David Sidoo is accused of paying 200-thousand-dollars for someone to take the S-A-T test for both of his sons. His younger son, Jordan, was admitted to Cal in 2014, partly based on those scores, and he graduated with a history degree last year. Sidoo has pleaded not guilty and no Berkeley staff or faculty members have been accused of any wrongdoing.
