KCSO Investigates Pot Shop Shooting

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an apparent shooting at a Marijuana shopThis happened Monday night around 7:30 in the 300 Block of Roberts Lane. Deputies responded to the scene and were told someone was hit by gunfire. Authorities couldn’t find the victim or suspects. About 15 minutes later, the victim was discovered at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. The injuries are not life-threatening.

On Monday, March 18^th at 7:29pm, deputies were called to the 300 block of Roberts Lane for a shooting.
Witnesses told deputies a person was shot at the marijuana shop on that block.
The victim or any suspects were not located at the scene.

About 15 minutes later, the victim showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
His injury was not life-threatening. No word on any suspects.
