Bakersfield Police have announced plans for a sobriety/drivers license checkpoint overnight Saturday, somewhere in the city limits. Officers will screen vehicles until 2am Sunday at a location known for collisions and drunk driving arrests. BPD also reminds drivers that “DUI doesn’t just mean booze.”
