The man who founded the Haddad car dealerships in Bakersfield has passed at 85. A statement from the family says Elias ‘Chuck’ Haddad died Tuesday afternoon at his home and plans for a celebration of life will be announced next week. Haddad began his career when his negotiation skills so impressed another dealer that he was offered a job.
