The Kern Coroner say the man who died after crashing his car on East Truxtun Avenue has been identified as 32-year-old Jose Antonio Almaraz Hurtado. He was likely speeding at the time. The small sedan left the road near the Beale Overpass around 2:15 Sunday afternoon. It’s not clear if drugs or alcohol were involved.
