The Kern County Sheriff says a member of the public discovered a body along the Kern River at about 12:20pm today. The body found was of a male, unknown age, about half a mile downriver from Keysville. The identity of the deceased will be pending confirmation and notification of next of kin by the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Coroner.
