A 2-alarm fire at one Bakersfield motel injuries one firefighter and leaves 25 people out in the cold. It happened just after midnight at the Budget Inn off Union Ave south of Panama Lane. 30 BFD crew responded to battle the blaze, two dogs were saved and the injured firefighter may have a fractured ankle. No word on the cause.
