More than 35 rounds fired into the air just before New Year’s in Bakersfield. Now police say an 18-year-old man is in custody in connection with the case. This happened off V Street near Union Ave. Police followed up the next day and went to a home they say was the likely place the gunfire came from. Ramon Toro is under arrest and two handguns were seized.
