A new year, a new chair for the Kern County Board of Supervisors. District 5 member Leticia Perez has been named to the chair for a second time, she held the role back in 2014. Perez is charged with two misdemeanors linked to a conflict of interest case from her voting on an issue over marijuana. A status conference in the case is scheduled for January 17th
