CHP says this happened in the northeast section of the city around 6:40pm at River Blvd and Knotts Street. The driver of an SUV was turning onto Knotts when he hit the two victims. Authorities say they suspect the driver was drunk. Fortunately, the pedestrians only had minor injuries. The driver is under arrest.
