A 2-year-old boy is in critical condition after being found responsive in a Southwest Bakersfield swimming pool Thursday night. Family members made the discovery at the pool at a home off Oakwood Drive near South H. Street and Wilson Road in Bakersfield. BPD’s Special Victim’s Unit was called to the scene.
