Over 200 Rescued in Creek Fire Burning in Fresno County

(Fresno, CA) — The Creek Fire in Fresno County continues to burn under extremely hot and dry weather. Cal Fire said the latest evacuation orders for the Fresno County fire include the entire community of Central Camp. An evacuation warning was issued Sunday night from Tollhouse Road from SR-168 to Lodge Road including Tollhouse Road North to SR-168. In addition, Bass Lake, Wawona, and Fish Camp will also go under an evacuation warning. The 73-thousand-acre fire is zero percent contained and is threatening 850 structures. The fire started Friday evening near the communities of Big Creek and Huntington Lake. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
