State Cancels Regional Stay-At-Home Order

California officials confirmed this morning that the regional stay-at-home order in all regions statewide has ended. Kern County in the San Joaquin Valley region will return to the color-coded tiered system of reopening. The stay at home order was tied to the 4-week projected ICU capacity in a region. Statewide is expected to be above the 15-percent threshold. This means Kern County is now in the purple tier of reopening which allows some non-essential business to reopen and outdoor dining.
