Tina Marie’s Cafe Reopens in Downtown Bakersfield

For the first time in months, a Bakersfield staple has reopened their doors. After being closed due to the pandemic, Tina Marie’s Cafe was then hit by a structure fire in downtown Bakersfield. Owner Tina Marie welcomed people home as a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today on the corner of their new location on 19th and Eye streets. The cafe received recognition from the offices of Assemblyman Vince Fong, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Congressman David Valadao, and Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh. Tina Marie called the whole experience “one heck of a ride.”
