Approximately 900 nurses at Adventist Health Bakersfield received $20 Starbucks gift cards courtesy of Stockdale Podiatry. In a gesture of appreciation, Dr. Brandon Hawkins of Stockdale Podiatry gave the gift cards to every member of Adventist’s nursing staff.

“We thought in this season of giving and of thanks we would reach out to our nurses here at Adventist and express our thanks and appreciation to them” says Hawkins.

Hawkins says with nurses long hours, coffee seems to be the one thing that keeps people going.
