Bakersfield Police Searching for Murder Suspect

The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for a suspect and they’ve released a composite sketch of what he looks like.

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a 2016 murder. On January 22nd, 2016 at approximately 9:30 PM, Leon Jones was shot and killed to the front of Tommy’s Liquors located at 2501 South Chester Avenue.

A police composite sketch of the suspect has been obtained and the homicide suspect is described as a: Black Male, 18-19, black hair with braids with red tips gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants
