KUZZ AM/FM is seeking a dynamic and experienced News Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism and anchoring live on air.

Specific Duties:

– Willing and able to learn our community, find stories and flourish independently

– Produce and deliver stories for air under fast paced deadlines

– Edit and proofread written content for accuracy and quality

Job Requirements:

– Excellent writing skills for broadcasting and web

– Computer knowledge, with experience uploading stories to websites (WordPress   preferred)

– Ability to manage social media platforms effectively

– Work well under pressure

– Excellent research skills

– Experience w/Adobe Audition

– Experience with NexGen and NewsBoss is a plus

– Bachelor’s degree is preferred
