The Sheriff’s Office Rural Crime Unit has recovered 16 stolen vehicles, including farm equipment as well as drugs. Spokeswoman Lori Meza says investigators identified 43-year-old Christopher Zuber as the suspect, who lived in the area of 62nd Street West and Sweetser Road in Rosamond.

During Tuesday’s search, detectives also found a forklift, a semi-truck, and several other vehicles. Charges against Zuber include operating a chop shop.
