Four people, including two children, have been arrested after allegedly stealing from unlocked cars in Ridgecrest.

Officers responded Thursday morning to reports of people checking car doors in the College Heights area and caught up with a fleeing car occupied by people tossing objects from the vehicle.

Landon Matthew Bard and Dillon Southard and two children were apprehended after what authorities say was a string of break-ins in the area.
