The 1st Annual Bakersfield Kids Outdoors Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 6:00am to 12:00pm at Riverwalk Park.

Both lakes will be stocked with over 1000lbs of trophy Rainbow and Lightening trout. Twenty-five of the fish will be tagged with a grand prize of $1000.

The event is open to all ages including adults and there will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for all age groups.
