Reba McEntire Shares ‘The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia’ Remix

Country legend Reba McEntire recently dropped the Eric Kupper remix of her song “The Night The Lights Went Out in Georgia” ahead of the release of her 3-part boxset, Revived Remixed Revisited.

To be released in full-length on October 8, the forthcoming collection sees the musician take a look back on her 46-year-long career and revisit fan favorites across the decades.

In “Revisited,” she works with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb to rework such hits as “Somebody Should Leave” and “Consider Me Gone.” Additionally, the collection also includes the long-awaited collaboration between McEntire and fellow legend Dolly Parton on the song “Does He Love You.”

“I’ve been continuing to make new albums, and we really haven’t spent the time to slow down enough to revisit and work the catalog and remind people of what we’ve done in the past,” she explained in a recent interview with Variety. “I’m really a forward thinker, so that was a little out of my realm [but] I think it’s very important to keep the songs of mine that my fans grew up on [alive].”

The collection is available for pre-order now.
