BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — A hearing has been postponed to April for a Bakersfield man accused of killing his wife.
Manuel Robles, 37, is charged with first-degree murder and child cruelty in connection to the shooting death of Ana Robles, 37, on Tallulah Falls Court in November 2025.
Police say the shooting with an AR-25 rifle took place during an argument in front of one of Ana’s children.
Robles crashed his pickup at a nearby intersection after allegedly fleeing the scene.
Robles reportedly told police he killed his wife because she had been unfaithful.
