ALI TAYLOR
Ali began her radio career part-time at Clear Channel in 2000 and joined KUZZ in 2023.
She loves music of all kinds and has over 20 years of experience working with children in education.
Ali enjoys concerts, time with family and friends, and singing whenever she can.
Born and raised in Bakersfield, CA, she’s proud to call it home.
CHRIS TOWNSEND
Chris always tells folks that working at KUZZ is “the most fun I’ve ever had on the radio!” And it’s true.
He’s been on the air since 1982, starting in Santa Maria and moving to Bakersfield in 1994.
Chris has been married to Karen since 1990, and they have three wonderful boys.
ERIK FOX
Erik grew up in Orange County, spending his days surfing until college radio sparked his passion for broadcasting.
He’s been part of the Bakersfield radio community for 27 years and loves calling it home.
A big animal lover, he’s the proud owner of two dogs.
In his downtime, Erik enjoys classic films, Star Wars, playing bass guitar — and even refereeing roller derby.
GEOFF EMERY
eoff started in radio as a high-school “geek” in Salt Lake City and joined KUZZ in 1996.
He’s worn many hats — mornings, afternoons, producing, and news — and has even earned two ACM awards.
Outside radio, Geoff has worked everywhere from Oxy to the railroad, and he loves BBQ, recording, and trains.
He and his wife, Valerie, share their home with a lively crew of shih tzus — plus a couple of chickens.
KENNY HERNANDEZ
Kenny is a Bakersfield native — born and raised right here in B-Town.
He has worked in radio in Bakersfield and Los Angeles for 33 years as both a DJ and producer.
Radio is his true passion — he loves being on the air, interacting with listeners, and playing the music.
KEN RICHARDS
Ken has worked part-time at radio stations across Fresno, Visalia, and Bakersfield since 1987.
Music is central to his life — he has run a mobile DJ business since 1983 and has produced countless events.
He’s also a full-time teacher, part-time EMT, and high school basketball official.
A dad of four, Ken loves the beach, Las Vegas, Pepsi, the color royal blue — and he proudly calls California home.
LEE LEE
Lee Lee is a proud Kern County native from McFarland. I studied Communications at Bakersfield College and CSUB and have spent over seven years in radio, starting in promotions and moving into morning show co-hosting. After a four-year break to raise my two kids, I’m excited to be back on the air with KUZZ. Talking is my gift — and I can’t wait to connect with listeners again.
RYAN FOX
Ryan is known for his engaging style, passion for country music, and genuine connection with listeners — he simply loves to entertain.
With 20+ years in country radio, he’s been heard in Los Angeles, on Dallas’ 99.5 The Wolf, on Westwood One, and on American Forces Radio.
Raised in a radio family in rural Oklahoma, he even ran American Country Countdown at age 11 and later graduated from USC’s film school.
Ryan’s proudest role is at home — husband to Amber, dad to Luke, Liam, and Landon, and playmate to their Aussie doodle, Riley.
TAMMY JAY
Tammy Jay is new to radio and joined KUZZ in June 2023 as a weekend and fill-in DJ — living a dream she never expected.
A longtime Bakersfield resident and South High graduate, she loves trips to Morro Bay and Pismo with her husband, Mike, and daughters, Harley-Rose and Alexis.
You’ll also find her at the Bakersfield Speedway, cheering on her brothers in the American Stock and Hobby Stock divisions.
Family and friends mean everything to her, and she feels truly blessed to be part of Bakersfield’s Best Country.
