BAKERSFIELD, CA (KUZZ) — Three people have been arrested after Bakersfield police caught them buying booze for minors.
Shoulder Tap operations conducted in west Bakersfield by the Bakersfield Police Department and California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control landed the suspects in jail February 18 and March 3, 2026.
All three suspects bought alcohol for minors who informed them of their age.
Buying alcohol for a minor can result in a $1,000 fine and 24 hours of community service.
